Home Remedy for Psoriasis

Psoriasis Natural Home Treatment using Bitter Gourd:

A valuable remedy for psoriasis is bitter gourd. Mixed with a teaspoon of lime juice, a cup of fresh juice of this vegetable should be taken sip by sip on any empty stomach for 4 to 6 months.

Psoriasis Natural Home Treatment using Avocado Oil:

Avocado oil has been found to be beneficial in psoriasis treatment. It should be gently applied to the affected parts of the body.

Psoriasis Natural Home Treatment using Cashewnut Oil:

Ruberfacient and acrid is the oil extracted from the outer shell of the cashewnut. It is to be applied on the affected areas to get beneficial results.

Psoriasis Natural Home Treatment using Buttermilk:

In the form of buttermilk the use of curd has proved useful for treating psoriasis. It is advised that the patient should drink it in liberal quantities. It will also be quite useful to apply buttermilk compresses over the affected parts of the body for treating psorisasis.

Diet:

A cleansing juice fast for a week is always advantageous at the start of the treatment as psoriasis is known to be a metabolic disease. Grapes, beets, carrots, and cucumbers may be used for juices.

A well-balanced diet i.e. the diet consisting of fruits, nuts, vegetables, seeds, and grains should follow the juice fast. Emphasis should be placed on:

  • Plenty of organically grown raw fruits and vegetables
  • Raw nuts and seeds, especially sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds

Following foods should be avoided.

  • Tea and coffee
  • All animal fats, including eggs, butter, milk
  • Refined or processed foods
  • Foods containing hydrogenated fats or white sugar
  • All condiments
